Enhance coordination of community-serving entities across multiple systems, including public, private, nonprofit, and philanthropic organizations.
Through the Public Benefits Community Navigator Program, we’ve partnered with local library systems to help residents apply for food, medical, and cash assistance.
Optimize and expand the capacity of the County’s care delivery systems to address housing insecurity, food stability, physical and behavioral health care access, and family stability.
Our Cuyahoga Job and Family Services team is placed at nonprofit locations in the community, including the Greater Cleveland Food Bank, to bring government to the people in our Neighborhood Resource Centers, where residents can apply for or renew benefits programs and inquire about the status of their cases.
Expand internal and external communication efforts, including proactive community engagement and outreach, to increase awareness of available services.
Our Welcome Center provides resources for housing, workforce training, educational services, legal support, public benefits access, and language services to support immigrants, refugees, and newcomers to Cuyahoga County.
