County Executive Armond Budish announced on March 19 that the County Treasurer’s Office is suspending further foreclosure action and delinquent contracts in Cuyahoga County, effective immediately and for at least the next 60 days.

Ohio Governor Mike DeWine announced on May 19 that the "Ohioans Protecting Ohioans Urgent Health Advisory" has replaced the "Stay Safe Ohio" order. The new health advisory replaces orders with strong recommendations.

The Presidential Primary Election of March 17, 2020 is extended to April 28, 2020 and is now Vote-by-Mail only. This is due to efforts to prevent the spread of the Coronavirus disease (COVID-19).

Cuyahoga County announced Tuesday March 10, 2020 the opening of Cuyahoga County Emergency Operations Center (EOC) and Joint Information Center (JIC) in response to three confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Cuyahoga County and Governor Mike DeWine’s Declaration of Emergency for Ohio.

The staff at Cuyahoga Job and Family Services continues to work to make sure residents eligible for Medicaid, the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) and other cash benefits, are getting the help they need during this time.
