How to Participate
Participating through Automatic Deductions:
Monthly - For each half-year, your tax bill will be divided by 6 to estimate your monthly installment. Payments are deducted from your account each month. The semi-annual remaining balance due will be auto-deducted when the tax collection opens. You will receive a tax bill indicating the amount of your final deduction.
Twice a year - Automatic withdrawals will occur twice a year when the tax collection opens. You may elect to have your first half payment made on the last business day of December.
Once a year - The full year tax amount will be withdrawn from your account when the tax collection opens. You may elect to have the full year amount withdrawn from your account on the last business day of December.
Participating through Pre-payment Coupons:
Upon enrollment, you may choose to receive monthly payment coupons that state the amount due, the due dates, the parcel number and the property address. You will receive a return envelope addressed to Cuyahoga
County Treasurer. Personal checks, cashier's checks and money orders are accepted.
