Registration & Visitation
The CCC now offers three ways the residents may visit friends and family.
- On-site visits take place Monday thru Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 11:30a.m. and from 1:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.
- Remote visits take place Monday thru Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. 1:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.; and Saturday and Sunday from 8:30 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
- In-person (behind glass) inmate visitation has returned at the county jail for friends, family, and clergy. Visits take place Monday thru Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. and from 1:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.
- At this time, we are only allowing in-person (behind glass) visits to those that are sentenced to the county jail for 90 days or longer, and our juvenile population.

Video Visitation
On-site video visitation:
- Available at no cost to the visitor.
- Consists of one (1), 20-minute video visit session a week per inmate.
Remote video visitation:
- Available at $4.00 for a 25-minute visit.
- Unlimited number of visits per week (depending on availability).

Behind Glass Visitation
Visits must be scheduled 48 hours in advance.
In order to visit in-person (behind glass), please complete the in-person visitor application, if you are bringing in a minor over the age of 5, you will need to complete the “authorization for a minor child visitation” form, children under the age of 5 are not permitted. The visitor handbook has valuable information pertaining to visitation, the process, what to expect, dress code, etc. If you have questions or concerns that are not outlined in the handbook, please email BehindGlass@cuyahogacounty.gov and a response will be provided.
For minor children (ages 5 and above) proof of age and/or guardianship will be required before visitation is allowed. The Authorization for Minor Child Visitation form must be notarized and returned to: BehindGlass@cuyahogacounty.gov.
Please note that you may not schedule an in-person visit and a video visit at the same time.

For Attorneys
The Cuyahoga County Corrections Center (CCCC) multiple ways for attorneys to visit with their clients.
- Securus Video Connect (SVC), where attorneys can visit with clients from a video visitation terminal inside their housing units.
- On-site
- Remote
- In-person visits - Visits with clients are conducted within the jail.
- Zoom visits – Visits conducted with clients using Zoom application technology.

The Cuyahoga County Corrections Center (CCCC) offers Securus Video Connect (SVC), where inmates can now visit with friends and family from a video visitation terminal inside their housing units. Similarly, friends and family can visit on-site, without cost, utilizing one of our terminals located on the first floor of the Cuyahoga County Justice Center located at 1215 West 3rd Street, Cleveland Ohio 44113. Friends and family may also visit remotely from their home, office, or anywhere they have internet service, and will have limitless opportunities to connect by sharing everyday events. Many studies have shown a link between individuals maintaining relationships with their loved ones reduces recidivism.
There has been some benefit of implementing video visitation which includes the expanded hours of operation for friends and family to visit, of which provides the ability to have more visits at times that are more convenient, avoid the cost and hassle of downtown parking, better alternative for children, more effective and efficient form of communication.
