The Northeast Ohio Information Security Forum is a 501(c)(6) non-profit professional organization for people interested in information security. Members are in the information security, networking, system administration/engineering, and IT industry who are either involved in or interested in the information security field.

Cloud Security Alliance - Northeast Ohio Chapter (Cleveland, OH) | Meetup
CSA harnesses the subject matter expertise of industry practitioners, associations, governments, and its corporate and individual members to offer cloud security-specific research, education, certification, events and products.

Northern Ohio InfraGard Members Alliance (
The Northern Ohio InfraGard Members Alliance is a non-profit organization serving as a public-private partnership among U.S. businesses, individuals involved in the protection and resilience of U.S. critical infrastructure, and the Federal Bureau of Investigation. The mission of InfraGard is to promote ongoing dialogue and timely communication between members and the FBI.

Today, information technology professionals in the fields of governance, control, risk, security, and audit/assurance drive strategy in their organizations, and ISACA facilitates the transformative change needed to compete as individuals and enterprises.

The Ohio County/City Information Technology Association offers a comprehensive learning partnership that benefits all group members. The OCITA group creates a pool of trained and experienced individuals ready to share ideas. It provides the opportunity to develop working relationships among all members criminals around the world and in cyberspace.

Continuity Professionals of OHIO (CPO) is a not-for-profit association with a focus on continuity of operations, disaster recovery, information security, and resiliency. CPO shares knowledge and experiences to proactively prepare for interruptions that affect corporations, customers, and communities.

ISS provides quality, cost-effective training, conferencing, and networking events; promotes education and awareness to our community of professionals and students; facilitates Career Connection events and promotes non-profit professional IT groups and organizations with their training and conferencing efforts.

Bsides Cleveland
BSides Cleveland is about bringing the Security community together for the free exchange of ideas, with a hacker attitude. Expressing radical viewpoints is welcome, and a high degree of skepticism on all sides is expected. At the same time, our community is diverse, and part of the hacker ethos is that it's not how you look that matters, it's what you bring to the party.



Information Security & Privacy | Department of Administrative Services (
The Office of Information Security and Privacy works with state agencies as they implement information security and privacy practices for their systems and services. As the enterprise security and privacy office, they provide information security governance, privacy direction, awareness resources, and enterprise incident response. In addition to those functions, the Office of Information Security and Privacy provides information security services to agencies and performs security operations.

The Northeast Ohio Regional Fusion Center (
The mission of the Northeast Ohio Regional Fusion Center is to facilitate and enhance the level of inter-agency communications, criminal and intelligence analysis, and information sharing among Federal, State, and local stakeholders, and the public and private sectors in order to anticipate and counter criminal activity, terrorism, and other hazards in coordination with the Ohio Fusion Center Network and the Intelligence Community.

Cleveland — FBI
The FBI’s Cleveland office covers Cuyahoga and Lorain Counties.

United States Secret Service | Field Offices
The Secret Service has an integrated mission of protection and financial investigations to ensure the safety and security of individuals, key locations, and events of national significance. They also protect the integrity of currency and investigate crimes against the U.S. financial system committed by criminals around the world and in cyberspace.

The Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA) leads the national effort to understand, manage, and reduce risk to our cyber and physical infrastructure. We connect our stakeholders in industry and government to each other and to resources, analyses, and tools to help them build their own cyber, communications, and physical security and resilience, in turn helping to ensure a secure and resilient infrastructure for the American people.
