About This Site:
The Cuyahoga County Code is a compilation of ordinances enacted by Cuyahoga County Council. An ordinance is a type of legislation that is of a general and permanent nature. Ordinances are arranged within the Code in book form by title, chapter and section, and published to provide an historical record of laws in an easy-to-use format. The Cuyahoga County Code is continuously updated as ordinances are enacted by Cuyahoga County Council.
The Code of Cuyahoga County as it appears on this site is only current as of the certification date by the Clerk of Council reflected on the Code's site and may not reflect the most current legislation adopted by the Cuyahoga County Council. Please always verify with the Clerk of Council before taking any official action to ensure that you have the most up-to-date version of any legislation.
