The Impact Unit has experienced, trained deputies who are available to assist any local law enforcement entity within Cuyahoga County. The IUs provide the services that include:

• Neighborhood canvass
• Area surveillance
• Robbery investigations
• Traffic enforcement in areas determined to be high accident areas
• Traffic enforcement in areas determined to be high DWUI areas
• Checkpoints to look for witnesses or suspects
