
Highland Bluffs
Description:
Situated in the City of Lakewood, near the Cleveland border, this project will protect 3,800 lineal feet of privately-owned shoreline, which includes a mix of high-rise apartments and condominiums. Valued at over $250M, structures along this segment of shoreline sit as close as 15 feet from the top of a 50–60-foot bluff.
Benefits:
In addition to providing close to .7 miles of public lakefront access, the project will provide a resilient solution to this heavily eroding section of shoreline, which includes one of the County's most concentrated population centers.
