The Department of Public Safety & Justice Services encompasses all divisions that previously existed under the County’s former Department of Justice Affairs.

Cuyahoga Emergency Communications System

CECOMS is a 24-Hour, 7-Day a week, public safety communication system that provides emergency 9-1-1 call answering and other communication services for Cuyahoga County.

The Witness Victim Service Center helps victims of crime receive advocacy, information, and access to community services. Ohio law provides victims with specific rights.
